1. The Golden Rule of Joint Health
The more you move, the less stiffness you'll have. Always change position or do light work out when reading, working or watching TV. Get off from your desk or chair and get active.
2. More women than men in the over 45 age saty that they have joint problem, due to women have more estrogens level than men.
Women will face menopause at the age of 45 and their joint problem will occur at the same time. This is because when menopause approaches, the level of hormones in woman’s body will tend to fluctuate where the primary hormones, estrogens and progesterone will decrease. Estrogens play a main role as anti-inflammatory. When levels of estrogens decline, naturally inflammation will increase and resulting in joint pain.
3. Stress VS Joint Pain
Stress hormone cortisol, a hormone that produced when a person response to stress, will act as inflammatory agent. Stress hormone cortisol will reduce the production of collagen, an essential compound for healthy joints. Practice controlling stress by diaphragmatic breathing for 5 to 10 minutes or yoga low impact exercise in order to reduce stress hormone levels.
